I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a deep desire to see women experience more joy and less stress in life. I offer solution-focused counseling in a comfortable and safe office environment. My approach is supportive and encouraging with a focus on helping women grow, create positive change, and improve their sense of well-being. Career and life transitions, chronic illness, marital conflicts, and divorce recovery are some of the issues I help my clients address.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources from Park University, a Master of Education in Rehabilitation Counselor Education from the University of Texas at Austin and I am currently enrolled at Duke Divinity School pursuing a Master of Divinity degree. My professional background includes more than seven years of counseling and counseling related experience. Most recently, I served as a career counselor at the Duke University Chapel where I provided counseling and support to undergraduate students pursuing career options in churches and faith-based organizations.

On a personal level, I am a happily married wife and mom with a love for travel, reading biographies, writing inspirational fiction, and spending time with my family and friends. I also have a special interest in international women’s issues and recently became a charter member of the Fistula Foundation’s, Love – a – Sister Program.
